RETURN POLICY:

All product(s) should be inspected for damage or shortages at time of pick up or delivery. All claims for damages or shortages should be made within 5 days of pick up or delivery.

All product(s) should be inspected prior to installation. Once product(s) is installed, it cannot be returned.

All products(s) marked Grab & Go in new condition, original packaging, and with proof of purchase can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of pick up or delivery.

All product(s) marked Available for Inter-store transfer in new condition, original packaging, with proof of purchase can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of pick up or delivery and are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

All Special Order product(s) are not returnable.

All Clearance product(s) are sold as-is and are not returnable.’

Shipping and delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to Home Surplus error.
The customer is solely responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to Home Surplus error.
Refunds will be processed by the same method of payment as the original purchase. Refunds where the original payment was cash or check will be processed as a mail refund check.

Home Surplus is not liable for product defects, damage, or property damage due to faulty installation.

Note: Home Surplus return policies apply only to items purchased from Home Surplus (in store or online at homesurplus.com). Items purchased from a third-party or marketplace seller, but shipped by Home Surplus, must be returned to the selling party in accordance with their return policies.

STORE PICKUP and LOCAL DELIVERY POLICY:

Orders can be placed at your local Home Surplus location or on-line.

Hundreds of our Grab & Go kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, & doors are in stock and available at your local Home Surplus location for pick up the day you place your order.

Product(s) can be picked up at your local Home Surplus for free. We offer local delivery within 50 miles of a Home Surplus location for $199, more than 50 miles is $299.

Many more products are Available for Inter-Store Transfer from another Home Surplus location and will be ready for pick up at your local Home Surplus or local delivery within one week.

Special Order products are available for pick up at your local Home Surplus or local delivery, delivery times vary depending on the manufacturer.

State and local sales tax will be collected on any order that will be picked up.
For online or phone orders, we require that you present the same credit card you used to place your order as well as a state issued photo ID when your order is picked up.

SHIPMENTS POLICY:

We can ship orders by common carrier to locations that are not near a Home Surplus location. A shipping charge will vary based on the size and weight of your order and any additional options. We will provide a quote for shipping charges before fulfilling your order. Shipping charges are not refundable.

Please inspect your delivery shipment before signing the driver’s release. By signing the release, you are accepting the merchandise in its current condition. If you notice that the merchandise is damaged, you should refuse to sign the release and call your local Home Surplus store for assistance.

WARRANTY POLICY:

Products offered for sale by Home Surplus are designed and manufactured to meet or exceed generally accepted industry standards. The products sold at Home Surplus are manufactured by a number of different vendors in the United States and the global market. Home Surplus makes no warranty as to the suitability of any product offered for sale for any specific application. Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are handled under the manufacturer’s warranty guidelines. Home Surplus does not provide product warranties. Warranties are limited to the repair and/or replacement of defective materials only and no warranty is made or implied on installation services.

MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY:

Many of the products we sell are covered under the individual manufacturer’s warranty, which will vary from product to product and from manufacturer to manufacturer. Please contact us to obtain warranty information for a specific product. Some manufacturers do not provide a formal written warranty policy, and any warranty claims with those manufacturers will be facilitated through local Home Surplus customer service. Home Surplus will communicate with the manufacturer on the consumer’s behalf, however any warranty claim will be limited to the manufacturers resolution of the claim. Warranties are limited to the repair and/or replacement of defective materials only and no warranty is made or implied on installation services.

WOOD PRODUCTS WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS (Including cabinetry, doors, flooring, moldings, etc.)

Naturally occuring wood characteristics: Variations in color, grain, mineral streaks, knots and other wood qualities are not considered defects. Wood products will expand and contract with changes in climatic conditions, and the resulting dimensional variation of the natural wood product is not considered a defect. Finished wood products: Color variations in finished wood products is a natural occurrence due to wood species, age, wood character, and exposure to light and climatic changes. Such variations and changes are not considered defects, and for these reasons new and replacement wood products may not match display samples and/or existing wood products.
